Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the CMTS leadership team, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) will provide safe and effective ambulance-based care at the basic life support level. Responsibilities include responding to ambulance requests for patient transport between healthcare facilities and other locations, as well as emergency medical situations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Current and in good standing as an EMT licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Public Health (DPH), Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS)
• Current BLS / CPR healthcare provider certification
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, in English
• Satisfactory Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) clearance
