Job summary

Lynx EMS in Ohio is seeking a Day Shift EMT to provide both emergency and non-emergency medical transport across the region, including discharges, interfacility transfers, and scheduled transports.

You will perform patient assessments, deliver high-quality care per state and company protocols, operate and maintain an ambulance, and collaborate with dispatch and healthcare facilities to ensure safe, timely service.

Qualifications

• Current State EMT Certification (or reciprocity eligible).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to reliability and punctuality for scheduled day shifts.

Lynx EMS provides private ambulance services for smooth, dependable patient transport to local area hospitals from various locations, including homes, emergency rooms, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and hospice care. We’re here to ensure safe, timely transport, including discharge services from any medical facility.

Position Overview – Day Shift

As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing both emergency and non-emergency medical transport services throughout the region. Day shift team members are essential in supporting hospital discharges, scheduled transports, interfacility transfers, and emergency responses during peak daytime operational hours.
