Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an EMT to join our Event Operations team in North Charleston, SC. This on-site role involves immediate emergency medical response, patient care within certification limits, and thorough documentation of medical interventions.

You will work with a professional team to ensure guest safety, proper EMS equipment maintenance, and compliance with responsible alcohol service policies. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EMT or medical background preferred.
• Medical Response Technician certification required or pursued through an appropriate agency.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; respond calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Provide emergency medical care within limits of certification.
• Complete thorough documentation of all medical skills.
• Disinfect and maintain cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies and treatment areas.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations (when necessary).
• Assist in coordination of emergency situations.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and staff.
• Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.

FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of appropriate medical service experience is preferred.
• Must obtain Medical Response Technician certification through the appropriate agency.

• Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work under pressure in high stress situations.
