Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide medical care for employees and guests, ensuring a safe environment and projecting positive public relations while complying with all policies and laws.

The role requires active EMT certification (NJ/NY/PA or national), CPR, and a valid driver's license, along with the ability to lift and assist patients; strong communication and composure in a fast-paced park setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Active NJ, NY, PA State or National EMT certification, CPR included.
• Must read and write legibly and understand medical terms; familiarity with computer input programs.
• Ability to maintain composure and treat guests or employees in a one-to-one setting.
• Ability to lift and move adults (approx. 100 lbs) with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to employees and guests.
• Provide emergency transportation for employees and guests as needed.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities of the Medical Division.
• Maintain and securely input all medical records and incidents in the computer.
• Conduct safety inspections throughout the park as requested by the Safety Manager.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to our Employees and Guests.
• Provide Emergency transportation for Employees and Guests as needed.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities of the Medical Division.
• Maintain and properly secure all medical records. Including in-putting all incidents in the computer.
• Conduct "Safety Inspections" throughout the Park(s) as requested by the Safety Manager.

Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess :

• Must be18 years of ageand have aVALID Drivers License
• Must be anActive NJ, NY, PA State or Nationally Certified EMT, with current certifications including CPR.
• Must be able to read and write legibly, and understand all medical terms and have understanding of computer in-put programs.
• Ability to maintain composure and treat guest(s) or employee(s) on a one-to-one treatment environment.
• Ability to perform EMT care inclusive of Lifting Adult individuals onto and off of stretchers with the assistance of only one other person. (Approx. 100 lbs.)
