StaffDash is hiring experienced Travel EMTs for a 16-week Inter-Facility Transport (IFT) assignment in Houston, TX. Housing is provided during rotations. This role includes a unique schedule of 14 days on followed by 14 days off, allowing for significant time off while still earning a competitive wage.

EMTs will need a Texas EMT License or an EMS Compact State License. Responsibilities include providing BLS and ALS care, monitoring patient needs, and ensuring ambulance readiness. Compensation includes $5,350 per 14 days worked with a travel stipend of $400 included.

Qualifications

• Texas EMT License or EMS Compact State License with NR-EMT is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience with IFTs and 911 is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) care during inter-facility transports.
• Monitor patients requiring continuous medical support during transport.
• Accurately complete patient care reports.
• Ensure ambulance readiness by maintaining medical supplies.
• Safely operate emergency vehicles during shifts.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff and dispatch.

• Safely operate emergency vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during day and night shifts.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, dispatch, and receiving facilities to ensure continuity of care.
