AMR Buffalo is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) for a full-time role in Buffalo, NY. Starting pay is $22.04 per hour and up, based on experience, with orientations scheduled for late August and late September 2026.

The EMT-B will respond to emergencies, deliver high-quality care, and support patient safety with a strong service mindset. We offer opportunities to grow toward a Paramedic license; AMR covers books, uniforms, and tuition and pays hourly wage while in class.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State EMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, andtreatmentwhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providinga safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriateskills to provide care includingcommunications, medicalequipment, cleaningprocedures, office equipment, and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Driver’s License
• State EMT certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare is preferred
