Job summary

Lehigh Valley MedEvac in Hazleton, PA seeks an experienced rotor-wing pilot to join Air Methods. You will transport medical crews and patients, ensuring aircraft airworthiness and compliance with FAR/AIM/GOM, while maintaining safety standards across assignments.

The role features a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, a $20,000 annual stipend, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates should hold commercial and instrument ratings with rotor-wing experience.

Qualifications

• Total flight hours: 2000, with 1500 in category and 1000 PIC in rotor wing.
• At least 50 hours of unaided night time; 200 hours cross-country with 50 at night.
• Commercial and Instrument ratings; ATP preferred; FAA medical (First/Second Class).

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Completes pre-flight checks and Daily Flight Log sign-off.
• Maintains familiarity with aircraft and medical systems.
• Completes required documentation.
• Plans flights with tight timelines and exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects, and community outreach.
