Job summary

FTI Defense - Frontier Technology Inc. is seeking an EMS Manager Support to monitor telecommunication systems plans and procedures within the Air Force Material Command.

You will act as the implementation program manager for EMS usage and support certification processing for spectrum-dependent equipment in AFMC programs. The role involves analyzing RF assignments, supporting NTIA and AFMC policy interpretations, and contributing to End-to-End Spectrum Supportability (E2ESS) implementation

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• 7 years of telecommunications theory, concepts and practices experience.
• Career-level professional with independent judgment and high proficiency.
• Subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor.
• Highly skilled and conducts complex work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze unusual telecommunications conditions and formulate projects or alter major systems.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate actions for telecommunications equipment, systems and services.
• Support RF assignments and allocations for spectrum-dependent systems.
• Interpret policies and implement rules regarding EMS use per NTIA, Air Force and AFMC policies.
• Research trends to develop new or improved communication methods and procedures.
• Support internal inspections to ensure compliance and update AFMC frequency records.
