Qualifications

• Successful completion and maintenance of Department of State Health Services or National Registry approved Paramedic training program/certification/license.
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems, or
• Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years Experience in a healthcare setting within a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department personnel.
• Function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy.
• Participation in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.
