Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking an EMS Instructor to provide education to EMS providers representing the EMS Center of Excellence in Dayton, Ohio. The role collaborates with the EMS Center of Excellence and related departments to deliver comprehensive education and ensure successful outreach events.

The instructor will handle lecture and hands-on training, prepare equipment, monitor attendance and grades, and coordinate with the Program Manager to improve educational resources.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license in Ohio (State of Ohio Paramedic)
• EMS Instructor certification (State of Ohio EMS Instructor)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional education to EMS providers.
• Frequent contact with EMS Coordinator and EMS providers and the general public at outreach events.
• Work closely with EMS, Trauma and CareFlight Outreach for implementation and execution of outreach events.
• Set up educational equipment inside and outside.
• Load and unload training equipment.
• Transport equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a safe, clean learning environment.
• Assist with orientation of new personnel.
• Deliver training programs as directed by the Program Manager.
• Review and adapt educational resources as identified.
