Job summary

Minneapolis VA Health Care System within Environmental Management Services (EMS) is seeking a staff member to support and perform tasks aligned with EMS goals and objectives. The position operates generally under the Housekeeping Supervisor, with no formal disciplinary authority over staff.

Applicants should demonstrate training or experience of sufficient scope to perform the duties, and will be evaluated according to the OPM Federal Wage System standards.

Qualifications

• A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position.
• Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform tasks related to the Environmental Management Services (EMS) goals and objectives.
• Work under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor with no formal disciplinary authority over staff.
• Duties include environment of care, textile distribution and training as part of EMS responsibilities.
