Job summary

Air Methods in Pahrump, NV seeks exceptional pilots to partner with us to serve our communities with air medical transport resources 24/7. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and a high-performing culture that rewards focused teamwork and reliable patient care.

Qualified applicants will meet FAR/AIM/GOM standards, complete thorough pre-flight walks, and maintain up-to-date flight hours and medical qualifications.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school and two to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign‑off.
• Final authority for operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Ensure familiarity with medical interior and systems of backup aircraft.
• Complete required documentation.
• Conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects and outreach.
• Regular attendance (7/7 schedule; 12 hour shifts).
