Job summary

Corewell Health Aero Med and North Flight Aero Med in Traverse City recruit pilots for a hospital-based air medical transport program across Michigan. You’ll fly modern aircraft, work with nurses, paramedics, mechanics, and dispatchers, and participate in safety‑driven care for patients in rural and urban communities.

This full-time role requires IFR and night operation experience, FAA pilot licenses, and Part 135 familiarity; three 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule aim to balance

Qualifications

• Mandatory IFR operations and night flight experience.
• FAA commercial pilot license required, with FAA DOT medical clearance on hire.
• Experience with multi-engine aircraft and Part 135 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Corewell Health Hospitals aircraft.
• Maintain required documentation per FAA and company standards.
• Collaborate with medical crew, maintenance, and dispatch to ensure safe transport.
• Contribute to policies and procedures related to aviation operations.
• Participate in safety and process improvement initiatives.
• Uphold safety as the primary factor in all decisions.
