The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care seeks an EMS Program Director to lead a premier EMS education program. You will manage all aspects of the program, coordinate education initiatives, and collaborate with medical directors to advance learning methods.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Paramedic, RN, PA or Physician in CA or eligible for CA licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in health services, education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience.
• Minimum of three years experience as an educator, with two in primary paramedic program instruction.
• Minimum of three years experience designing medical educational curriculums.
• Experience with distributed learning using Adobe, Connect or Canva.
• Experience delivering fire-based EMS educational programs.
• Proficiency in evaluating students across cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing medical education programs.
• Participation in COAEMSP accreditation.
• Experience directing education programs, hiring, coaching, supervising staff, and obtaining program accreditations.
• Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, PALS from American Heart Association.
• Certification as a Prehospital Trauma Life Support Instructor from NAEMT/ACS.
• MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience coordinating large scale education programs.
• Must have reliable transportation for off-campus travel.
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and on-call after hours.
