Job description

cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services is currently hiring an EMS Technician Level II. This role involves performing certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics on various truck equipment. The technician will also provide emergency roadside assistance and must be capable of working independently in emergency situations, following safety protocols and documenting all work accurately. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing minor adjustments and repairs on truck systems such as electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, and more.
  • Participating in safety training and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
  • Documenting work using company tools and applications.
  • Communicating effectively with management and team members.
  • Managing parts inventory and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Working independently to prioritize and manage tasks.
  • Providing excellent customer service and assessing client needs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a valid DOT Medical Card, and at least 3 years of experience as a Power Technician on medium to heavy-duty vehicles.
