Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator - EMS to design and deliver EMS continuing education, mentor faculty, and support credentialing within a large Illinois system. The role involves developing modules, coordinating testing, and ensuring alignment with program standards.

You will also participate in MIH education and act as a lab/preceptor for psychomotor exams. Requires nursing degree with IL RN, EMS ALS credential, and teaching experience; AHA BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active IL RN license.
• Current EMS ALS credential (Paramedic or PHRN) within six months of hire.
• AHA BLS CPR for Healthcare Provider and ACLS Provider required.
• Minimum of two years of documented teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Create EMS CE modules with lesson plans, literature research, handouts and audio-visual aids.
• Credentialing support and data maintenance for System Entry and Peer Educator education.
• Serve as System Educator liaison; monitor logs, conduct audits and verify CE hours.
• Assist MIH education, review quality metrics and suggest program improvements.
• Deliver program content as ECRN education and precept CPR/ACLS exams when needed.
• Participate in system meetings and committees to plan goals and improvements.
