Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) seeks a Clinical Educator I in Austin, TX to design, teach, and evaluate basic and advanced life support training programs. You will act as a training consultant and provide career development resources for caregivers under supervision of the Regional Manager of Clinical Operations.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or EMT-P certification/license applicable to scope.
• Current instructor ratings in AHA/NAEMT certifications required.
• Two years EMS experience required.
• Knowledgeable in prehospital EMS transport.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource to basic and advanced caregivers and maintain current standards of care knowledge.
• Develop, organize, implement and evaluate education programs to ensure caregiver competencies.
• Identify learning needs and conduct needs assessments regularly.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure education supports service delivery.
• Assist with area-specific orientation of local protocols and procedures for new employees.
• Ensure safety and compliance through Safety Management System clinical reports.
