Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) in El Centro, CA seeks a Clinical Educator to oversee internal continuing education programs and ensure compliance with governing agencies including AHA and NAEMT. The role emphasizes instructor development, accreditation, and quality improvement across education initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of ED/ICU or prehospital experience, RN or Paramedic licensure, and relevant AHA/NAEMT teaching credentials.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years current ED or ICU nursing or prehospital EMS experience preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of AHA, NAEMT and/or AAP teaching experience preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of field experience as PTO or Preceptor preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills (word processor, database).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in primary state of assignment.

Responsibilities

Oversees Instructor and Process Development and ensures compliance with accreditation standards.
Manages CEU processes and internal education calendars.
Maintains policies for internal continuing education and training.
Produces training reports and conducts investigations of complaints related to classes.
Participates in SOP and clinical protocol development and quality improvements.
