Job Title: EMR Remote Access Specialist

Location: USA/Remote

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time

Salary Range: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Starting pay varies based on location and experience, in compliance with specific state wage regulations. Competitive rates tailored to your geography and expertise.

Position Overview:
The EMR Remote Access Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating and maintaining secure access to external facility systems for internal staff. This position supports the Vice President of Operations and collaborates closely with the Clinical Technology Team, Compliance, and Legal, serving as a key liaison in managing credentialing and remote access processes. The specialist will ensure accurate documentation and communication across departments while supporting the integrity and functionality of internal tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate new credential requests, updates, and access confirmations with staff.

Serve as corporate site administrator for multiple client facility remote systems.

Communicate with client facility contacts and Legal to facilitate contract signing and execution.

Partner with Compliance to address any access or credentialing issues.

Request, manage, and deactivate facility system accesses as required.

Support general administrative needs related to access and credentialing.

Build and maintain tracking systems in JIRA and Confluence to document facility access contacts and status.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of updates to internal databases.

Maintain ongoing communication with management and clients regarding access needs and changes.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Comfortable with database systems such as JIRA and Confluence (preferred).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Professional, dependable, and always maintains confidentiality.

Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.

Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
