Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator/FT-RN to optimize the electronic medical record (EMR) system. You will audit, analyze, and train staff to ensure EMR accuracy and compliance, working with physicians, nursing management and leadership.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree, healthcare leadership experience in long-term care, and a patient-centered approach to support residents and staff while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year in nursing management in long-term care.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Audits, analyzes, and trains staff to optimize EMR use.
• Collaborates with physicians, office staff, nursing management and leadership to ensure EMR accuracy and completeness.
• Supports staff with EMR usage and troubleshooting.
• Provides a comforting and engaging presence for residents and staff.
