The Jefferson County Department of Health is seeking a well-qualified Nursing Program Coordinator. This role is responsible for serving as the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) liaison and super user for the Jefferson County Department of Health.

Duties related to managing and overseeing the EMR system include troubleshooting problems, setting up EMR access for employees, and reviewing/auditing medical records in the system to ensure compliance.

Formación

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Alabama.
• Experience training clinic or healthcare staff on policies and procedures, EMR, infection control.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or updating clinical policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, develops, and implements protocols for health care programs.
• Develops training materials and courses for staff.
• Assesses staff performance and ensures compliance with nursing state requirements.
• Conducts quality assurance by auditing medical charts for compliance.
• Provides EMR technical support and staff training on the system.
• Serve as liaison with EMR vendors and coordinate issue resolution.
• Supervises staff by assigning work and providing feedback.
