Base pay range

$80,900.00/yr - $110,300.00/yr

The EMR Integration Specialist performs end-to-end planning, analysis, and validation for data migration projects. The EMR Integration Specialist's work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The EMR Integration Specialist works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex to complex problems; plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing the migration of EMR data; analyzes quality of data to be migrated, develops mitigation strategies for bad data to ensure a seamless migration, works independently, managing multiple priorities, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

The EMR Integration Specialist acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions. Requires cross departmental collaboration and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with managers across the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of five years of experience supporting EMR data migrations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience in problem analysis and process
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma certification
  • PMP certification
  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Work At Home Statement

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$80,900 - $110,300 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
