Job summary

MED CARE EMS in Georgia is seeking skilled EMTs to join our ambulance team. You will document patient information, administer basic life support, transport patients, and operate ambulances in compliance with safety policies.

A valid EMT license in Georgia, CPR, EVOC/CEVO, and a high school diploma or GED are required or preferred; driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential. Flexible full-time/part-time/per-diem shifts available.

Qualifications

• EMS EMT certification in Georgia or within process to obtain.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• EVOC/CEVO certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in emergency care preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move patients safely.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred
• Current EMT certification/license in the state of Georgia
• Current CPR certification
• Current EVOC/CEVO certificate (or able to obtain)
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• 1 year of experience in an emergency care setting preferred
• Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment
