Job summary

Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. seeks an Activity Leader II to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Club Challenge in Orange Park, FL. The role is part-time with a 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

schedule, Monday through Friday, at a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. You will lead engaging activities, assist members with personal goals, and help them participate in community events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass local and Level 2 background screening requirements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and all other required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate person-centered planning with members, staff, and community partners.
• Support members in developing personal goals related to employment, social participation, recreation, daily living skills, and self-advocacy.
• Plan, engage in, and facilitate community outings based on members’ interests and goals.
• Verify daily attendance and required program documentation when assigned.
• Report incidents and participate in training; maintain regular communication with supervisors.
