Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caregiver to empower individuals, promote independence, and support daily living at home and in the community. You will build meaningful relationships with participants and work under leaders who encourage doing what’s best for those served.

As part of Sevita, you’ll contribute to care plans, help participants achieve personal goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and grow your own skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily self-care tasks.
• Support participants with developmental challenges and other complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and maintain participant independence.
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the care team to monitor progress.
