Alpha Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Jamestown, ND 58401. This role involves removing barriers, supporting self-directed living, and assisting with daily activities in residential or day setting as needed.

You will work within a collaborative care team, uphold our values of respect and integrity, and ensure informed decision-making, safety, and quality of life for people supported. Training will be provided; a drivers license and background checks are required.

Formación

• Pass all prehire requirements (criminal background and drug screen).
• Valid drivers license and auto liability insurance.
• 1 year of related field experience preferred.
• Demonstrates caring, positive attitude and flexible, detail-oriented approach.
• Maintains high level of confidentiality and strong organization.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; follows oral and written instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Incorporate values and mission in service delivery.
• Maintain regular, on-time attendance and flexible scheduling as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with people supported, guardians, families and coworkers.
• Empower people supported to participate in community activities and promote independence.
• Assist with personal care tasks, home management, and accompanying to appointments.
• Provide orientation and training for new staff in the area.
• Administer or supervise self-administration of medication.
• Communicate with supervisor about issues promptly.
• Maintain safety and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Complete trainings; provide CPR/First Aid as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
