Job summary

YogaSix Leander seeks experienced teachers to deliver engaging, authentic classes across heated and non-heated formats. You’ll craft sequences with clear intention and read the room to support every student’s progress.

Requirements include 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification, CPR certification, and at least two years of teaching experience. Availability for 3+ classes per week and a collaborative mindset are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of postures, transitions, sequencing, anatomy and modifications.
• Ability to create and communicate a clear class intention.
• Confident teaching in a heated environment.
• Open to feedback and coaching to improve teaching.
• Reliable, collaborative team player with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging, Purposeful Classes.
• Lead classes within YogaSix formats with your teaching voice.
• Develop thoughtful sequences for format, level, and intention.
• Provide physical challenge without intimidation; offer options.
• Cueing, demonstration and observation to maintain safety and awareness.
• Create a complete class experience with music, pacing, lighting and transitions.
• Support students’ progress, encourage consistency and progression.
• Read the room and adapt to all levels, keeping newer students included.
