Job summary

Woodbury High School, Boys Swimming & Diving, seeks a Varsity Assistant Coach for Winter 2026-2027 under the Woodbury High School Athletics/Activities program. Compensation is based on Schedule C with 32 base points or $4,640 base contract rate.

The role requires Minnesota coaching certification, strong character, energy, and a collaborative approach with parents and staff to develop student-athletes both athletically and personally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Positive, high energy, and committed.
• Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
• View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals.
• Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training.
• Foster moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and confidence.
• Demonstrate substantial knowledge of the sport and build positive relationships with stakeholders
