Job summary

American Leadership Academy - Monroe in Monroe, NC is seeking a Third Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.

The teacher will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, maintain records, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to support diverse learners and English language learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and background check completed.
• NC Teaching Certificate preferred; Elementary Education degree is a plus.
• Ability to teach third grade and address diverse learners.

Responsibilities
