• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ARD Committee to develop IEPs for each student.
• Implement instructional or therapeutic programs and show written evidence of preparation.
• Assess student learning styles and plan appropriate instructional strategies.
• Present subject matter according to IEP guidelines using varied techniques and media.
• Support regular class teachers by modifying curricula for students with disabilities.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings and in selection of instructional media.
