The role requires collaboration with PPT teams, IEP development, data analysis, and strong communication with students, parents, and staff. A Georgia certification and masters in special education are preferred, with emphasis on inclusive, student-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold Georgia State Certification in Special Education.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and PPTs.
• Strong data-tracking and progress reporting for students.
• Knowledge of federal and state education laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, testing and diagnosis to identify learning needs.
• Assist in developing Individual Educational Plans (IEP) for students.
• Support implementation of IEPs and behavior management plans.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and districts as needed.
• Engage with students and parents to foster communication and growth.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for college and employer notifications.
