Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education is required.
• Vermont Special Education teaching certification or eligibility is required.
• Experience in special education settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs.
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals and needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices.
• Foster inclusive, supportive learning environments that promote student success.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, MDT meetings, and professional development.
