Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college
- Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level/subject
- Must be considered highly-qualified per NCLB guidelines
- Proof of licensure for Pre-K4 & Special Education positions
Responsibilities
- Provide modifications and accommodations as stated on the student's IEP
- Write IEPs with data on student performance for all students on caseload
- Facilitate ARD meetings for students on caseloads
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support learning
- Plan and teach in deficit areas (reading, writing, math)
- Support general education teachers with modifications & accommodations
