Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject area.
• Proper valid Pennsylvania teacher certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and organize tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with timely delivery.
• Proficient with computer skills and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Follow the approved course design and implement lesson plans.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Plan and implement lessons meeting student needs and curriculum.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and families.
• Maintain attendance records and office submissions daily.
• Maintain grading procedures and student achievement records.
• Support each student’s development according to abilities.
• Deliver effective instructional lessons using appropriate materials.
• Maintain classroom discipline and professional conduct in halls and events.
• Keep accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Participate in in-service trainings and professional development.
• Take on assignments from the Building Principal as needed.
