Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for an Oklahoma teaching certificate.
• Meet all certification requirements including teaching area endorsement in Oklahoma.
• Satisfy district health and citizenship requirements.
• Alternative qualifications may be considered as approved by the Board.

Responsibilities

• Plan and align instruction with Oklahoma Academic Standards and district objectives.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse sub-populations (SPED, ELD, Gifted) and prep materials.
• Prepare materials and adapt lessons for students with varying needs and IEPs.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to team meetings.
• Maintain substitute plans, seating charts, behavior plans and group identification.
• Embed literacy, math and science practices into lessons and use pacing guides.
