Qualifications

• Possesses a valid Pennsylvania certificate in the appropriate area.
• Reads, writes, and speaks English fluently.
• Displays effective communication, judgmental, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and human relations skills.
• Ability to follow directives and adhere to the chain of command.
• Dependable, punctual, flexible, appropriately attired, neat in appearance, and able to manage time.
• Maintains a professional demeanor and image.
• Courteous to students, staff, and the general public.
• Possesses interpersonal skills and can work independently or on a team.

• Keeps current in the field and shows professional growth.

Responsabilités

• Plan, instruct, and supervise instructional environments to help student learning.
• Develop daily lesson plans and deliver instruction within curriculum guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff, support staff, and administrators on instructional issues.
• Attend required meetings and prepare reports as directed.
• Implement IEPs and participate in related teams (IEP, CST, MDT, SIR) as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and orderly learning environment.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Respond to emergencies and report dangerous situations when required.
