Job summary

LAKELAND MIDDLE SCHOOL is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports students with special needs under the supervision of a licensed teacher and the principal.

The position runs 6.5 hours per day, five days a week, during the school year, with a pay range of $16.62–$18.82 per hour, DOE. A full benefits package is included, covering PERSI retirement, medical, dental, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA/AS degree or two years of college coursework or passing score on Idaho Paraprofessional Assessment or Praxis test.
• Experience working with school-age children.
• Ability to work effectively under the direction of the principal and/or classroom teacher.
