West Ada School District seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in Resource Rooms and Inclusion settings. The position is 7.5 hours per day with a starting pay of $16.24 per hour and opportunity to contribute to individualized education plans.

You will assist teachers, prepare materials, supervise students, and help with accommodations. The role involves potential exposure to varied disabilities, requires 21+ age, and may require assessment testing or Idaho alternative

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older for secondary buildings.
• Have 2 years of college credits or a college degree.
• Pass the ParaPro Praxis with 457+ or Idaho testing alternative with 75%+.

Responsabilités

• Assist special education teachers in IEP implementation and activities.
• Prepare lesson plans and adapt materials for learners.
• Tutor students and support classroom management and assessments.
• Supervise students and assist with personal care and safety needs.
• Support inclusion efforts and maintain classroom documentation.
• Perform clerical duties and assist with reports as needed.
