Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certification appropriate to subject and grade level.
• Valid Special Education Certification EC-12 required.
• De-Escalation/Restraint Certification (CPI) preferred.
• ABA training required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, measurable Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals.
• Implement appropriate curriculum with accommodations.
• Document ongoing student progress accurately.
• Collaborate with general education teachers on lesson plans.
• Manage student behavior using approved strategies.
