Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks a Special Education Assistant - Instructional at Unami Middle School for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, 10-month role runs 7:15-2:45 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, at a rate of $20.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years college coursework or an associate degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Support student(s) IEPs in both special autistic support and regular education settings as directed.
• Perform a wide variety of duties in support of student needs under guidance of a professional staff member.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques as trained; restraint as a last resort may be required.
