Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Valid license to practice as an educational aide.
• Passage of the Paraprofessional Test; two-year degree or CDA certification.
• Child Abuse certification.
• Child First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Communicable Disease Certification.
• Clear BCI/FBI report.
• Classroom experience with handicapped students.
• Ability to work with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be found appropriate by the Superintendent.
