Genesis in Moses Lake, WA, is seeking a Director of Social Services to lead the Social Services department in a nursing center. You will guide policies and programs to maximize patient independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include NASW-aligned operations, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, supervising up to two staff, and educating patients and families on rights, decisions, and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or human services is required.
• State-specific certifications/licensures to practice in long-term care are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with social services staff, interdisciplinary team, and administration to promote and protect patient rights, dignity, independence, and psychological well-being.
• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with NASW Code of Ethics and regulations.
• Supervise staff up to 2 employees.
