Job summary

White Glove Therapy Services in New York City is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and deliver school-based services across NYC classrooms. You will develop tailored SLP plans, provide direct therapy, and monitor progress to foster communication and independence for students.

Qualified candidates hold NYS SLP licensure with preferred school-based experience. TSSLD is a plus; join us to support children’s growth in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings preferred.
• TSSLD for Speech Therapists.
• Familiarity with the unique needs of students requiring speech therapy within a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored SLP plans that promote communication skills, motor development, and overall functional independence.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of developmental delays and disabilities.
• Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting intervention strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatrics, physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology relevant to patient care within an educational context.
