Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist certification or state licensure.
• Experience as School Psychologist or Student Assistance Counselor at secondary level.
• Experience with crisis intervention, counseling and case management in a school setting.
• Strong communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, families and outside agencies.
• Familiarity with individualized support plans and student-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention services.
• Implement programs that promote positive behavior, mental health, and student well-being.
• Serve as a liaison between students, families, and community resources.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of student support plans tailored to individual needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address student concerns and develop strategies for academic and personal success.
• Provide staff development and consultation as needed.
