Job summary

Frederick County Public Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver on-site services to students across assigned schools in Frederick, MD. The role includes screenings, evaluations, and direct and consultative therapy to support communication and language goals.

You will develop IEP goals, monitor progress with data, and collaborate with educators and families while ensuring compliance with IDEA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland SLP license and appropriate school-based certification; CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience assessing and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders in school-age children.
• Experience developing IEPs, progress monitoring, and using data to guide interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine needs.
• Develop IEP goals and deliver direct and consultative therapy.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and teams to support curriculum access.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
