Job summary

Huntley Community School District 158 at Marlowe Middle School in Illinois is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year.

You will provide therapy services to students under IEP direction, conduct comprehensive assessments, and implement individualized interventions in multiple settings while documenting progress and outcomes.

Collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals is essential to optimize student success and support MTSS processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state OT licensure in good standing.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with school-based settings preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor, visual-motor, and executive functioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students under IEP direction.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to discern strengths and areas needing enhancement.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary professionals to formulate IEPs, 504 plans, and MTSS.
• Implement therapeutic interventions in various settings and document progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with OT research and methods.
