Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Continuing education in acute stroke care as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, adjusting plan of care based on progress and evidence.
• Educate patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Perform examinations and determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Document in accordance with Clinical Process Policy CTSCP67.
• Supervise PTA and rehab technicians; monitor care provided by staff.
• Communicate patient status, discharge plans, and equipment needs with the medical team.
