Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support a licensed Physical Therapist in delivering high-quality therapies to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

You will help implement treatment plans, train Direct Support Professionals, and monitor patient responses under supervision. The role requires an active PTA license, an AS degree, and a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.
• Associates of Science (A.S.) degree in Physical Therapist Assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans.
• Train Direct Support Professionals on transfer techniques and equipment use.
• Conduct gait, balance, transfer, and mobility interventions.
• Support mobility and daily living activities; reinforce adaptive equipment training.
• Document treatment sessions in accordance with Sunrise Community policy.
