Job summary

Anytime Fitness in Illinois is seeking a Personal Trainer to assess clients, develop individualized training plans, and teach safe equipment use to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness, strong communication, and the ability to motivate others; required certifications include current CPT or fitness instructor credentials, plus CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
• First aid and CPR-certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level
• Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically
• Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment
• Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
