Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to tutoring subject areas.
• Experience delivering academic support at postsecondary level preferred.
• Knowledge of tutoring techniques and study-skills development.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in math, reading, writing, English and related subjects to individuals and small groups.
• Develop tutoring plans, motivate students, and build confidence.
• Share strategies for study skills, note-taking, test prep, and time management.
• Schedule sessions and maintain records of tutoring activities and progress.
• Support embedded tutoring in classrooms and coordinate with instructors.
